Birmingham Law Society Legal Eagles Quiz

This year’s Halloween saw  young members of the firm attend the Legal Eagles Quiz event organised by the Birmingham Law Society (BLS) in partnership with Birmingham Solicitors’ Group (BSG).

Axiom, a member of the BLS, had a team of five at the event, comprising a newly qualified solicitor, trainee and paralegals. The event coincided with the firm also relocating to its new home at 103 Colmore Row.

The team attempted over 100 questions during the 2-hour quiz, spanning from all categories of general knowledge in the 70s & 80s, including music, film, cartoons, foods & drinks, and Halloween-themed questions! The event served as a good team-building opportunity as people from the firm’s two offices worked together; it also broadened the knowledge base of those participated.

The hosts ran a charity raffle, and whilst we did not win any prizes, we helped in raising money for Home-Start Birmingham Central and South-West and Suited for Success, who are fantastic charities based in Birmingham.

The firm strongly belies in the importance of encouraging and supporting young lawyers to participate in networking and social events, especially in the local community. We would also like to thank the BLS for organising this fun evening and for the BLS President Tony McDaid for making us feel welcome!
