Alexis Karakannas

Alexis is a Paralegal in the Real Estate department.                                                                                       

Alexis joined the firm in September and has since worked in the Property Department, focusing mainly on offshore companies and on the registrations of Overseas Entities

Background

Following a successful military term in the Special Forces division, acting as a platoon commander, Alexis completed his undergraduate studies in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) at the University of Nottingham. His course offered him the necessary tools to amplify his understanding and knowledge base on a plethora of subjects, stimulating his introspection and judgement. Over the succeeding years, Alexis completed his Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) at the University of Law within a year and is currently completing the Bar Vocational Studies (BVS), pending two exams, at City, University of London.

He gained his experience through various internships and placements focusing on Litigation and Property as well as mooting competitions and judge marshalling.

Qualifications & Memberships

Further, he is also a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and the founder of Faculty of Reason, a website/blog which showcases his own personal portfolio of papers.

Outside interests

In his spare time Alexis is a certified kite-surfer and has been skiing since the age of three. Additionally, he is a fitness enthusiast, focusing on power lifting and bodybuilding.
