Ceyhun Beliger

Ceyhun joined the firm in October 2022 as a Paralegal in the Real Estate department.

Background

Ceyhun gained a 2:1 at the University of Kent in law (2018 to 2021) and then went onto study the LLM LPC (Solicitors) programme at BPP University in Holborn gaining a distinction grade (2021 to 2022). During the LPC course, he studied a combination of skills, core and elective modules with emphasis on advanced commercial property, intellectual property and corporate finance; the LLM masters modules consisted of negotiation, case analysis and law reform.

Ceyhun completed various short internships and placements focusing on property, contract and commercial law throughout London, with one unique placement in a North Cyprus law firm. He was also able to complete virtual internships at Clifford Chance and Linklaters. He has a virtual short-term advisor/trainee role at the Citizens Advice in Canterbury advising on personal debt issues. He was able to kick-start a self-employed position as a legal information specialist providing legal information for those with inadequate means in accessing justice (whether it be local businesses, individuals with low income or family/friends).

Outside interests

Ceyhun enjoy travelling, keeping fit by going to the gym, and playing in friendly football matches (as well as attending football games). I have an interest in motoring (cars, go-karting, formula 1 etc.). He like to volunteer in providing private tutoring to students undertaking their GCSEs and being involved at the BPP Pro Bono Centre (Streetlaw (presenting at workshops informing local communities about the law) and legal translation services). He have volunteered in the past for the Turkish Cypriot community in organising charitable and marketing events. He am fluent in communicating in Turkish and I’m keen on building on my learning of Spanish.
