Dan is a Trainee Solicitor in the Real Estate department.
Since joining the firm, he has gained a variety of experience in commercial and property ligation matters both in the County Court and the High Court, and is now on our Trainee Solicitor scheme.
Recent Department Work
Dan acts for landlords and tenants predominately in relation to possession claims, the Czech Republic in a long-standing international arbitration matter, and a cryptocurrency asset exchange against South African liquidators.
Background
Growing up in Ayrshire, Scotland, Dan originally studied National 5s, then latterly Highers and Advanced Highers in his final years of school. At law school, Dan took an interest in constitutional and administrative law, as he has a keen interest in politics, particularly Scottish Devolution.
Prior to joining Axiom DWFM, Dan gained experience working in multiple practice areas, including Human Rights.

Outside interests
Outside of work, Dan likes to exercise, which includes running, playing tennis, and going to the gym. A keen golfer, he also loves to travel, including frequent visits to his family in the south of France.
