Emma-Kate joined the firm as a Senior Associate in the Private Client department, based in the London office.

Emma-Kate specialises in estate work (complex and straightforward), as well as preparing Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and advising on Court of Protection matters. She has over 13 years’ experience in the field, helping her clients navigate the confusion and formalities involved at what is an already difficult time, with her professional, yet caring, advice and support.

Background

Emma-Kate studied Law at the University of Kent, before completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London, and qualified as a solicitor in January 2010. From 2016 until 2023 she worked as a Partner in a Kent based firm, before moving to a boutique London and Kent based firm as a Partner and Head of Private Client for both offices. After relocating to the city, when the opportunity arose to join a central London firm, Emma-Kate embraced it enthusiastically.
