Jeremy is a Partner and Head of Crime and is based in the Wanstead office.
Recent Department Work
Jeremy recently represented a significant number of teachers and staff at a school being investigated by the police for historic abuse allegations under a special operation all of whom had no further action taken against them.
Background
Jeremy has extensive experience and knowledge in criminal defence work over the last 40 years. He tends to specialise in the more complicated cases including Murder, serious sexual assaults and rape as well as Conspiracy to Defraud and Money Laundering. He is also known in the East London courts as a tenacious advocate for his clients. Jeremy is on the panel of solicitors instructed by the National Education Union to represent its members when subject to criminal investigation or prosecution. He has been extremely successful in avoiding prosecutions in an extremely sensitive area.

BA (Hons) in Law followed by the Law Society Finals.

Outside interests
Jeremy is interested in all forms of the Arts and is active in local theatre both performing and directing. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
