Katie Holloway

Paralegal – Corporate Finance

Katie joined in August 2018 as a Litigation and Dispute paralegal and now works as a paralegal in the Corporate Finance Department.

Since joining the firm Katie has assisted with a wide variety of matters both in Litigation and Corporate Finance, including:

  • Contractual disputes
  • Commercial disputes
  • Setting aside Judgments/Statutory Demands
  • Insolvency / Bankruptcy proceedings
  • Consumer and commercial collection and debts
  • Enforcement proceedings
  • Asset and/or Share Purchase Agreements
  • Loan Agreements
  • Shareholder Agreements

Katie also acts as an assistant to the firm’s Chairman, Jonathan Metliss and has co-organised a number of successful events for the firm.

Background

Katie graduated from Keele University with LLB (hons) Law Degree in 2014 and completed her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School in 2017.

Prior to joining us, Katie worked as a Commercial Dispute Resolution paralegal in Derby, specialising in Commercial Debt Recovery. She also has some experience in Criminal matters after working at Nottingham Crown Court for some time previous to that.

Interests

Outside of work Katie acts as an Ambassador and Media Representative for a national charity called Beat.
