Specialist Employment Lawyer
Rachel joined in April 2018 and has specialised in employment law since 2000. She has previously worked at top-tier ranked firms and in-house for Government and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 1999 after graduating in law from King’s College London and the completion of the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law.
She advises employers and employees on all aspects of employment law, with particular expertise in:
- Litigating complex claims before the Employment Tribunal
- Negotiating settlements and exit packages for employees at senior and junior levels
- Advising employers across the private and not for profit sectors on restructuring and redundancy processes, flexible working, the enforceability of restrictive covenants and the application of TUPE
Rachel has a particular interest in claims that involve discrimination, harassment, breach of contract and professional discipline.
She is always keen to provide her advice in the most cost- effective way and, in appropriate cases, is willing to consider alternative funding arrangements including no-win no-fee agreements and legal insurance-backed cover.
